MISLEADING PRODUCT INFORMATION IN THE DESCRIPTION
This is a great brush cleaner in that it removes makeup from brushes very easily. HOWEVER, Sephora is advertising this as anti-microbial & it is NOT. If you look up all the ingredients, they are all solvents & fragrances. None of them remove bacteria or prevent the spread of germs. You can look on the Cinema Secrets website & read the description there. Nowhere does it say this product is microbial. Not to mention that the list of ingredients is different on the CS website. It is WILD to me that Sephora is falsely advertising SAFETY INFORMATION. What a wildly reckless thing to do when many makeup artists shop in their stores. This is SO IRRESPONSIBLE & sort of seems illegal to me.

Every time I had to clean my makeup brushes I had to either use baby shampoo or mild dish soaps. After reading about brush cleaners, I decided to try the Cinema Secrets, based on the multiple reviews that made me really curious about it. The product is a blue liquid that smells really strong, a mix of alcohol and notes of warm vanilla. It claims to instantly clean and quick-dry your brushes. As directed, I pour a little bit in a mini bowl, dipped the fibers about a quarter in, and instantly wiped them on a cloth (they also recommend paper towel, but it absorbs the liquid way too fast). Then I reshaped the brushes with my fingers and set them to dry. The amount of pigment that comes off is absolutely ridiculous. The strong smell of alcohol goes away really quick,

A very thorough brush cleanser that dries very quickly, conditions the bristles without fall and leaves a fresh Vanilla fragrance not chemicals. I purchased a small pour size. It use a shot glass to dip. I knocked some over my jeans recently. Fortunately WD40 released the gungy foundation with Fairy Liquid in wash. The bottle has lasted well over 12 months when using regularly (2 or 3 times per month. Skin hygiene is paramount. Time is short. Get some, now!!

DONT LET PEOPLES BRUSH PICS FOOL YOU
This product is AMAZING. don’t let the photos of people proving their idiocy that aided them in destroying their own brushes dissuade you from trying this cleaner out.
the KEY to, not only keeping your brushes clean, but also keeping them from ruin, comes from the simple fact that you shouldn’t use anything without READING THE INSTRUCTIONS FIRST. there’s a very good chance, most of the people who’ve shown how they destroyed their brushes, did so because they put too much of the brush into the liquid.
seriously, if you put the whole brush head of your into the cleaner, you’re guaranteed to ruin it. only half the brush hairs length should go be dipped into the cleaner. it’s because once the ends of the brush hairs make contact with this liquid, the hairs, natural or synthetic.
